Please note that, as a general rule, a maximum of 36 characters is possible. If this is not sufficient, please contact us. In many cases, a few more characters may be possible depending on several factors. We will gladly check this for you.
Tipp
You can also add a symbol. To insert a “heart,” use the key combination [ALT]+[3] on the numeric keypad on a PC, or add an emoji on your smartphone.
Choose from two fonts for your standard engraving:
Straight-line font (Frankfurt Gothic Italic)
Curved font (English 157 BT)
Tipp
If you would like a different font or a completely individual engraving such as a fine print, a drawing, or something handwritten, then choose custom engraving.

With a free standard engraving, you can have a text of up to 30 characters engraved on your piece of jewelry. You can choose between two fonts: straight and curved.
With a custom engraving, your imagination is almost limitless. For example, you can engrave a fingerprint, something handwritten, a personalized symbol, or a drawing.

Especially for eternity rings or jewelry with many stones, the total carat weight is given, representing the sum of all individual stones in carats.
If your piece is fully set with stones all around, the total carat weight depends on the ring size. The larger the ring size, the more stones fit around it, and the higher the total carat.
Total carat weight not selectable?
Not every piece of jewelry is available with any number of stones. However, in many cases, your desired piece can be produced and delivered with the preferred number of stones with a slightly longer delivery time. If the total carat you want is not selectable for your chosen piece, please contact us.
Select your preferred diamond size in the “Stone Size” section. The following overview provides sample information for selected stone sizes.
Stone size not selectable?

Jewelry is mostly made from alloys – blends of several metals fused together. Like wine blends (cuvées), these formulas have been refined over centuries. Pure gold would be too soft and always have the same color. That’s why different proportions of silver, copper, and palladium are added, which also increases durability.
For gold, the numbers 333/-, 375/-, 585/-, and 750/- indicate the percentage of pure gold. For example, 585/- means 585 g of pure gold in 1,000 g of alloy (14 karat). 750/- corresponds to 18 karat.
Platinum is used in 600/- and 950/- alloys. Jewelry made from 950/- platinum contains 95% pure platinum and is especially high-quality and durable. The remaining 5% typically consists of tungsten.
Palladium is used in 500/- and 950/- alloys.
In the ringshop, you’ll primarily find the following diamond qualities, classified according to international standards:
H/si
G/if
G/vs LG
G/vvs
H/vs LG
N/p1
H/p1
Diamond quality is based on five factors: Clarity, Colour, Cut, Carat, Confidence;
1) Clarity – The fewer inclusions, the higher the clarity grade:
Internally flawless (IF)
Very very small inclusions (VVS1, VVS2)
Very small inclusions (VS1, VS2)
Small inclusions (SI1, SI2)
Noticeable inclusions (P1)
Larger inclusions (P2)
2) Colour – Diamond shades include: blue-white, fine white, white, faintly tinted white
3) Cut – The cut gives the diamond its brilliance. The ideal is the brilliant cut (56 facets), with variants such as Princess, Trilliant, Baguette, Oval, and Marquise.
4) Carat – Diamonds are weighed in carats (1 carat = 0.2 g). One carat is divided into 100 points. A 25-point diamond equals 0.25 carat or 0.05 g.
5) Confidence – Only diamonds that comply with the international Kimberley Process are used. These are conflict-free diamonds, not used to fund wars. “Confidence” guarantees the stone is not a “blood diamond.”
